monwealth of Pennsylvania: Sir: I have the honor to present herewith the twenty-ninth annual report of the Bureau of Industrial Statistics. The report covers the manufacture of boots and shoes and cement, with illustrations; the tanning industry and the manufacture of pig iron, steel, rolled iron and steel and tin plate. It completes the 1892 comparative series, and continues the interesting 1896 comparative series.
