PREFACE The opinions of the Supreme Judicial Court comprise the sole and only source from which the author has compiled this volume, as well as Kellen's Index-Digest Massachusetts Reports Volume 2 and Hildreth's Massachusetts Digest Volume 1. In so far as brevity and conciseness will permit the exact language of the opinions is followed. This volume is cumulative including Volumes 232 to 238 inclusive of the Massachusetts Reports and together with Kellen's Index Digest-Massachusetts Reports Volume II and Hildreth's Massachusetts Digest Volume 1 the author places in the hands of the profession a digest of the opinions of our Supreme Judicial Court contained in Volumes 151 to 238 inclusive of the Massachusetts Reports.
