48 hours. 125. Payment of bids and certificate of purchase. Every purchaser at any sale of lands by the department of taxation and finance under this article shall pay the amount of his bid into the state treasury within forty-eight hours after the last day of sale. Upon the payment of a bid such department shall give to the purchaser a written certificate, describing the lands purchased, the sum paid and the time when the purchaser will be entitled to a deed. Such certificate shall also contain a statement substantially as follows: The purchaser, if the lands herein described are not redeemed, may, either complete the purchase and take a conveyance of the lands as provided in the tax law, or, at his option, foreclose his lien pursuant to article seven-a of said law. § 2.
