Operational training for Missile Master sites.

1. U.S. Continental Army Command.

U.S. Continental Army Command will con-
duct a program of 17 troop tests in fiscal year
1962. Where possible, these tests are conducted
in connection with field exercises.

2. Office, Chief of Signal Corps...

The Signal Corps will conduct 4 major troop
tests for evaluating Signal organization and com-
munication-electronic doctrine and techniques.
3. Office, Chief of Chemical Corps..

The Chemical Corps will conduct 3 major troop
tests in fiscal year 1962 to determine the effective-
ness and hazards of conducting tactical operations
in chemical, biological, and radiological warfare.
In addition a series of 15 operational type field
experiments will be conducted to determine
usability of field equipment.
4. Office, Chief of Ordnance..

Ordnance will conduct 2 major troop tests of
organization and doctrine.

The increasing number of long range weapons require specialized firing ranges. Travel to these ranges by additional units will increase in fiscal year 1962.
