REPORT. To the Honorable the Board of State-Prison Directors: GENTLEMEN :-Having been personally in charge of the Prison for the last eight months, it becomes my duty to furnish such information, financial and statistical, as will assist you in the completion of your Annual Report. You will find, embraced in the accompanying Tables, a full and detailed statement of all transactions had at the Prison for the eight months ending December 31st, 1858. You are respectfully referred to the Report of the Physician, A. W. Taliaferro, for information in reference to the sanitary condition of the convicts.
