SEC. 2. The analysis of chapter 33 of title 18, United States Code, immediately preceding section 701 of such title, is amended by striking: "713. Use of likenesses of the great seal of the United States." and substituting therefor: "713. Use of likenesses of the great seal of the United States, and of the seals of the President and Vice President." SEC. 3. The amendments made by this Act shall not make unlawful any preexisting use of the design of the great seal of the United States or of the seals of the President or Vice President of the United States that was lawful on the date of enactment of this Act, until one year after the date of such enactment. 84 STAT. 1941 Foreign heads of state, U.S. representatives abroad; Seoret Service proteotion. 65 Stat. 122; 82 Stat. 1198. 79 Stat. 890. SEC. 4. Section 3056 of title 18, United States Code, is amended (1) by adding the following clause after the second clause thereof: "protect the person of a visiting head of a foreign state or foreign government and, at the direction of the President, other distinguished foreign visitors to the United States and official representatives of the United States performing special missions abroad;" and (2) by striking the words "Chief, Deputy Chief, Assistant Chief" and inserting in lieu thereof "Director, Deputy Director, Assistant Directors, Assistants to the Director". SEC. 5. Section 3056 of title 18, United States Code, as amended by section 4 of this Act, shall be subject to Reorganization Plan Numbered 26 of 1950 (64 Stat. 1280). Approved January 5, 1971.
