Part One discusses aims and methods of teaching speaking, reading, writing, listening, grammar and usage, and mechanical skills. Part Two includes rich resource units with many suggested activities related to unit themes and topics. Units on Orienting Myself to High School, Finding Beauty in Language (10), Look at Your Language, Enjoyment Through Language (11), and Language Has Manners, Too (12) are excellent. Many other units are oriented toward literature and communication.

MISSISSIPPI
