Synopsis of drawback rates and amendments and extensions April 24 to 30, 1940, inclusive, pursuant to articles 1041, 1042, and 1043, Customs Regulations of 1937

(A) Catsup, canned and bottled.-Manufactured under section 313 (b) by Val Vita Food Products, Inc., Fullerton, Calif., with the use of refined sugar.

Rate effective on canned catsup manufactured on and after January 2, 1938, and exported on and after March 20, 1940, and on bottled catsup manufactured on and after July 23, 1938, and exported on and after March 20, 1940.

Sworn statement of March 20, 1940, forwarded to collector of customs, Los Angeles, Calif., April 26, 1940 (731.1).

(B) Film, cinema, cartridge and portrait, unexposed; sensitized photographic paper; developed motion picture and amateur motion picture film; and imported sensitized photographic paper cut to size.—T. D. 42119–M, as extended, and T. D. 43924-O, as extended, covering sensitized

photographic paper, sensitized unexposed cinema, cartridge and portrait film, photographic film, developed motion picture film and developed amateur motion picture film manufactured by Agfa Ansco Corp., with the use of imported materials, and covering imported sensitized photographic paper cut to size by it, further extended to cover said products manufactured by General Aniline & Film Corp., Binghamton, N. (C) Fruit products, citrus.-T. D. 46737-F, as extended by T. D. 49091-B and T. D. 49091–H, covering citrus fruit products manufactured under section 313 (a) and (b) by Bordo Products Co., Winter Haven, Fla., with the use of refined sugar, amended to provide for the filing of sworn abstracts at the end of each manufacturing period extending from September 1 to March 31, and from April 1 to August 31, respectively, instead of at the end of the canning season. Extension effective on grapefruit segments manufactured on and after November 21, 1939, and exported on and after December 1, 1939, and on grapefruit juice manufactured on and after November 28, 1939, and exported on and after February 29, 1940.

Rate effective on products manufactured and exported on and after February 5, 1940.

(F) Piece goods.-T. D. 48247-P, as extended by T. D. 48367-F, covering piece goods manufactured by Phillipsburg Silk Co., with the use of imported yarn or drawback yarn and with the use of warps manufactured by it under drawback regulations, further extended to

cover said products manufactured by Phillipsburg Textile Mfg. Corp., Phillipsburg, N. J., successor.

Extension effective on and after August 2, 1939.

D. 50086-E covering galvanized steel pipes or tubes manufactured under section 313 (b) by Pittsburgh Tube Co., Pittsburgh, Pa., at its Monaca, Pa., factory with the use of zinc, amended as of original effective date to provide for liquidation on the basis of quantity of zinc used, less the quantity thereof which the value of the waste will replace.
