It was pieces of cable that had been cut out of the cable system throughout the post in repairing defective cable, a project going on for 2 years. These pieces of scrap cable were from 2 to 6 feet in length, the ones mentioned. It did have an excellent scrap value, this lead-coated and copper cable. Mr. RIEHLMAN.
