Saves Your Time

Sheetrock Finisher was developed especially for
joining the edges of Sheetrock and making flat,
smooth-surfaced walls and ceilings. Due to its
uniform consistency you can put it on in a frac-
tion of the time required to apply other types
of "fillers."

Besides going on easily and quickly, Sheetrock
Finisher bonds perfectly to the Sheetrock sur-
face and conceals the joints, thereby producing
a uniform surface for decoration. This finisher
is fine, too, for plaster cracks and holes in wood
construction.

One five-pound package of Sheetrock Finisher
will conceal the joints and nailheads on 500 sq.
ft. of Sheetrock. Full directions on every pack-
age. It'll save time and give better results. Write
for free sample.

Published monthly, $1.00 per year.

[blocks in formation]

They are packed into the bleachers,
And the band's begun to play,
And the howling "ball fan" screechers
Are "on deck," in full array!
Our old friend, the vendor's copping
Of the coin-his goodly share,
And the hot peanuts are popping,
And there's popcorn ev'rywhere!

The big diamond is a-shining
In the sunshine, spick an' span,
Where the boys will soon be lining
Up the mighty Big League clan!
After months of grilling training
In the far-off winter camps,
Where the swatters have been straining
To retain their jobs as "champs."

The Spring air is sharp and nippy,
And the sunshine's full o' "pep,"
And the "fans" are feeling zippy-
Band a playing jazz-time step!

Ev'rybody's at a tension,
With a flutter in their heart;
Eyes and ears are all attention-
Waiting for the game to start!

Here they come!-the Big League wonders!
Catching, pitching, batting braves!
Down the grandstand roll the thunders"
Of applause, in mighty waves!

Forth they stride, with heads held proudly,
In their uniforms, brand new,
And the thousands cheer them loudly,
As they pass by on review!

Heroes ev'ry one a "winner,"
Who has won himself a name,
In the outfield, or the inner,
Or in some branch of the game!
Falls a silence on the bleachers,
And a voice is heard to bawl-
Stirring fifty thousand creatures
With a mighty thrill-"Play Ball!"

YES, "play ball" and let us see that no "bunts" are made, that "muffs" are

out of the question and that no "called game" will be in order to break the work in our trade; and finally, that painting and decorating will continue to go undisturbed to the end that our members will always be able to "play ball." -Editor.
