The President has selected as members of the Interstate Commerce Commission the following gentlemen: Thomas M. Cooley, of Michigan, for the term of six years. William R. Morrison, of Illinois, for the term of five years. Augustus Schoonmaker, of New York, for the term of four years. Aldace F. Walker, of Vermont, for the term of three years. Walter L. Bragg, of Alabama, for the term of two years. The office of the board is at Washington, D. C. RAILROAD TAXES. The following is a statement showing the assessment of Railroad taxes for 1886, the amount distributed to the several cities and towns, and the balance accruing as revenue to the State: a. Less $157.30 allowance for interest on abatement of tax of 1884, per decree of court. b. Includes entire Boston & Maine system. c. Includes entire Concord system. d. Included in Concord. e.
