during the day-light hours.

The proposed area is designated as the site for a
recreation community center in the Comprehensive Recreation
Plan approved by the NCPC. The requested development
will fulfill this plan.

(b) A separate pre-school room with an adjacent toilet with
facilities fitted to small children.

(c) A crafts room with adequate shelving, cupboards and
bins. This room should be fitted with several 220 volt electric
outlets for kiln operation. This craft room should be supplied
with a slop sink and number of built in work tables with adequate
lighting. A dark room for photo development with water supply
and ventilation should be a part of the craft room.

(d) A games room pool, paddle tennis and other such activities can take place.

(e) A lounge and quiet games room with shelves for a small library.

(f) A kitchen of such size that small classes in cooking may
be conducted.

(g) Every activity room should have ample storage space
adjacant to it. There should also be a general storage room for
larger items and outdoor type of equipment which must be stored
(h) Toilets for male and female which can be entered from
within the building and from without.

(i) A custodians work room where there will be storage
room for such tools as will be needed to care for the structure
as well as the site such as resident type power mowers, wheel-
barrows, rollers, garden hose, and various types of hand tools.
This room should have a built in work bench and racks and
shelves for orderly care of his equipment.

(j) An office for the director which has visual command of as
much of the interior and exterior as is practical. Adjacent to
the director's office there should be a staff toilet with a shower.
(k) A room for such mechanical equipment as furnace,
central air conditioning, hot water heater, etc.

this project, outfitted with such power tools as saws, planers,
jointers, sanders, lathes, and drill presses. It should have
heavy work benches, and wood storage racks.

This structure should have a minimum of windows and such
windows as are deemed necessary should be of unbreakable
plastic.

The building should be air conditioned throughout, and the
lighting provided should be able to compensate for the reduced
number of windows.

All doors and windows should be set in steel frame and
should be as tamper proof as can be made.

(m) An art room for painting, sculpture and other related
arts with a storage room for easels and a rack for unfinished
paintings.

The site should have facilities for field games and paved.
