Reciprocal trade agreement between the United States and the PROMOTION OF PEACE ARBITRATION, CONCILIATION, AND JUDICIAL BILATERAL TREATIES OF ARBITRATION AND CONCILIATION Czechoslovakia-Latvia The American Minister to Czechoslovakia reported by a despatch dated February 8, 1935, that the Czechoslovak Government published in its Collection of Laws and Decrees, under date of February 7, 1935, the text of a convention of conciliation, judicial settlement, and arbitration between Czechoslovakia and Latvia which was signed at Geneva October 11, 1933. Ratifications of the convention were exchanged at Prague on December 21, 1934, and it entered into effect on that day. It will remain in effect for a period of 5 years and if not denounced by either party 6 months prior to its expiration it will continue in force for another 5-year period. Italy-Switzerland By a despatch dated February 4, 1935, the American Ambassador to Italy reported that ratifications of the protocol extending the duration of the treaty of arbitration and conciliation between Italy and Switzerland, signed September 20, 1924, were exchanged at Rome on January 28, 1935.
