FY 2010 Within Grade Increases & Promotions
Estimated longevity and promotion pay increases for within rank
and grade increases. Items paid in accordance with the USCP
Unified Pay Schedule.

Less 1 Holiday in FY 2010

Overtime

For FY 2010, the estimated overtime will cost approximately
$22.356 million, due to a reduction in need for OT hours based on
approximately 100 additional sworn employees by the end of FY
2009.

Specialty Pay & Miscellaneous Benefits
The total of $2,100,000 includes $873,600 for specialty
assignment pay and $1.226 million for the revised Incentive
Awards, Specialty Pay, and Student Loan programs.

Annualization of FY 2009 benefits

Additional benefits are estimated at 33.52% for salary, and at

7.2% for overtime.

Benefits for 2010 FTE's

Benefits for new employees, estimated at 33.52%.

Metro Transit Increase

An increase of $5,420 is requested, based on change in IRS
maximum reimbursement from $115 to $120 in CY 2009, with
USCP cost increasing from 124,666 to 130,087

Benefits to Former Employees

Reduction from $191,000 based on actual usage.
