Section 2. The State Auditor is hereby authorized and directed to draw his warrants in favor of the persons named and for the amounts set down opposite their names, as shown in Section 1 of this Act, and the State Treasurer is directed to pay the same.

Section 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval by the Governor.

HOUSE BILL NO. 206.

An Act Approving Duplicate Bounty Certificates Numbers 146 and 222 in favor of Perry L. McCrea and appropriating money for the payment thereof.

Be it Enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Montana:

Section 1. That, whereas, the County Clerk of Custer county, Montana, on September 17, 1903, issued to Perry L. McCrea Bounty Certificate No. 146, for the sum of $24.00, and also, on October 30, 1903, issued to said Perry L. McCrea Bounty Certificate No. 222 for the sum of $105.00; and, whereas, the said Perry L. McCrea lost said Bounty Certificates Nos. 146 and 222 and the same have never been presented to, nor paid by, the State of Montana; and, whereas, the State Board of Examiners, at a meeting of said Board on March 22, 1904, refused to allow, and order paid, the duplicate Bounty Certificates issued, in lieu thereof, by said County Clerk and thereupon referred the payment of said duplicate Bounty Certificates to the next Legislative Assembly of Montana for whatever action may seem best; therefore, said duplicate Bounty Certificates, No. 146 for $24.00, and No. 222 for $105.00, issued by the County Clerk of Custer County, Montana, in favor of Perry L. McCrea, in lieu of two certificates for the same amount lost by him, and which duplicates were presented to the State Board of Examiners and referred by it to

the Legislative Assembly, are hereby approved in the sums above set forth, and there is hereby appropriated out of any money in the State Bounty Fund the sum of $129.00 to pay the said claims of said Perry L. McCrea.

Section 2. The State Auditor is hereby authorized and directed to draw his warrant in favor of the said Perry L. McCrea in the sum specified in this Act.

Section 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval by the Governor.

HOUSE BILL NO. 208

An Act Providing for the Appropriating of Money for the Payment of Certain Claims incurred in Election Contest Cases.

Be it Enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Montana:

Section 1. That the sum of $183.70 be, and the same is, hereby appropriated out of any money in the state treasury, not otherwise appropriated to pay the claims of the following named persons for services rendered to the Committee on Privileges and Election of the House of Representatives in Connection with certain Election Contest Cases.

The name of each claimant and the amount of his claim is as follows:

Section 2. The State Auditor is hereby authorized to draw his warrant on the State Treasurer in favor of said persons named for the amounts set opposite their respective names and the State Treasurer is hereby directed to pay the same.

Section 3. This Act shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval by the Governor.

HOUSE BILL NO. 209

An Act Appropriating Money for the relief of M. A. Wellman, for Mileage and per diem while in attendance as a De Facto Member of the House of Representatives.

Be it Enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Montana:

Section 1. That the sum of One Hundred Fifty-four Dollars and Twenty Cents ($154.20) be, and the same is, hereby Appropriated out of any money in the State treasury not otherwise appropriated for payment of M. A. Wellman for mileage and per diem while a De Facto Member of the House of Representatives, pending the decision of the contest for his seat instituted against him by T. W. Richardson.

Section 2. The State Auditor is hereby authorized to draw his warrant on the State Treasurer in favor of said M. A. Wellman for the amount mentioned in Section 1 of this Act.

Section 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval by the Governor.

An Act appropriating money to defray the expenses of the joint Committee, appointed to investigate the penitentiary at Deer Lodge, Montana.

Be it Enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Montana:

Section 1. That the sum of Three Hundred Sixty Six and Sixty Hundredths ($366.60) Dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary, be, and the same is hereby appropriated out of any moneys in the State Treasury, not otherwise appropriated, to pay the expenses incurred by the said Committee.

An Act Making Appropriations to pay the Per Diem of the officers and Attaches of the Ninth Legislative Assembly of the State of Montana.

Be it Enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Montana:

Section 1. That the sum of six Thousand ($6,000.00) Dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary, be and the same is hereby Appropriated out of any moneys in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to pay the per diem of the officers and attaches of the Ninth Legislative Assembly of the State of Montana.

Section 2. That this Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval by the Governor.

An Act appropriating money for the payment of claims of certain persons for fees and expenses allowed by law for appraising cattle that were slaughtered by order of the State Veterinarian.

Be it Enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Montana:
Section 1.

That the sum of Four Hundred Thirty one and Fifty five Hundredths ($431.55) Dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary, be and the same is hereby Appropriated out of any moneys in stock inspector and indemnity fund the State Treasury, not otherwise appropriated, to pay the following named persons for fees and expenses:
