HOUSE BILL NO. 303.

An Act making Appropriations for the State Institutions of Montana for the Fiscal Years Ending November 30, 1905, and November 30, 1906.

Be it Enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Montana:

Section 1. That the following sums, or so much thereof as may be necessary, be, and the same is, hereby Appropriated out of any money in the State Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the objects hereinafter expressed for the fiscal year ending November 30, 1905:

For the maintenance of the Insane, One Hundred and Thirty Thousand Dollars ($130,000.00).

For the maintenance of the State Prison, Eighty Thousand Dollars ($80,000.00).

For the maintenance of the Agricultural College, Seventeen Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($17,500.00).

For the maintenance of the Experimental Station of the Agricultural College, Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00).

For Experimental purposes, Experimental Station, Agricultural College, One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00).

For the maintenance of the Reform School, Twenty-four Thousand Dollars ($24,000.00).

For the maintenance of the School for the Deaf and Blind, Twentyfive Thousand Seven Hundred five Dollars ($25,705.00).

For the maintenance of the State Normal School, Twenty-nine Thousand Eight Hundred forty five Dollars ($29,845.00).

For the maintenance of the State University, Forty-seven Thousand Dollars ($47,000.00).

For the maintenance of the State School of Mines, Twenty-eight Thousand Eight Hundred Sixty Dollars ($28,860.00).

For the maintenance of the State Orphans Home, Twenty-six Thousand Dollars ($26,000.00)..

For the maintenance of the Soldiers Home, Seven Thousand One Hundred Dollars, ($7,100.00).

For the maintenance of the State Fair Association, Seven Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($7,500.00).

For the salary of the Secretary of the State Fair Association, Twelve Hundred Dollars ($1,200.00).

Section 2. That the following sums, or so much thereof as may be necessary, be, and the same are, hereby Appropriated out of any money in the State Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the objects hereinafter expressed for the fiscal year ending November 30, 1906:

For the maintenance of the Insane, One Hundred and Thirty Thousand Dollars ($130.000.00).

For the maintenance of the State Prison, Ninety Thousand Dollars ($90,000.00).

For the experimental purposes, Experimental Station, Agricultural College, One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00).

For the maintenance of the Agricultural College, Eighteen Thousand Dollars ($18,000.00).

For the maintenance of the Experimental Station of the Agricultural College, Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00).

For the maintenance of the Reform School, Twenty-six Thousand Dollars ($26,000.00).

For the maintenance of the School for the Deaf and Blind, Twenty Nine Thousand Dollars ($29,000.00).

For the maintenance of the State Normal School, Twenty-nine Thousand Dollars ($29,000.00).

For the maintenance of the State University, Forty-seven Thous and Five Hundred Dollars ($47,500.00).

For the maintenance of the State School of Mines, Twenty-eight Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($28,750.00).

For the maintenance of the Orphans Home, twenty-six Thousand Dollars ($26,000.00).

For the maintenance of the Soldiers Home, Twelve Thousand Dollars ($12,000.00).

For the maintenance of the State Fair Association, Seven Thousand Four Hundred Dollars ($7,400.00).

For the salary of the Secretary of the State Fair Association, Twelve Hundred Dollars ($1,200.00).

Section 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval by the Governor.

An Act to appropriate moneys for the payment of mileage and per diem for the members of the ninth Legislative Assembly of the State of Montana; also for the payment of per diem of the officers and Attaches thereof.

Be it Enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Montana.

Section 1.

That the sum of Forty-five Thousand Dollars ($45,000.00) or so much thereof as may be necessary, be and the same is hereby appropriated out of any funds not otherwise appropriated, for the payment of mileage and per diem for the members of the Ninth Legislative Assembly of the State of Montana.

Section 2.

That the sum of Eighteen Thousand Dollars ($18,000.00) or so much thereof as may be necessary, be and the same is hereby appropriated out of any moneys not otherwise appropriated for the payment of the per diem of the officers and attaches of the Ninth Legislative Assembly of the State of Montana."

Section 3.

That this Act shall be in force and effect from and after its passage and approval.

An Act making Appropriation for the Incidental Expenses of the
Ninth Legislative Assembly of the State of Montana.

Be it Enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Montana:

Section 1.

That the sum of Twelve Thousand Dollars ($12,000.00) or so much thereof as may be necessary, be and the same is hereby appropriated, to pay the incidental expenses of the Ninth Legislative Assembly of the State of Montana.

HOUSE BILL NO. 37.

An Act appropriating money for the erecting and equipping additional Buildings for the State Orphans Home at Twin Bridges, Montana.

Be it Enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Montana:

Section 1.

That the sum of twenty-two thousand ($22,000.00) dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary be, and the same is hereby appropriated out of any funds in the State Treasury, not otherwise appropriated, for the purpose of erecting a school building, a building for the lighting and heating plant including a laundry building, a cottage building, and for equipping and converting the present school building into a cottage for the State Orphans Home at Twin Bridges, as follows:

Section 2.

That the sum of Nine Thousand ($9,000.00) dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary be, and the same is hereby appropriated out of any funds in the State Treasury, not otherwise appropriated, for the purpose of erecting a school building and equipping the same for the State Orphans Home at Twin Bridges, Montana.

Section 3.

That the sum of Seven thousand ($7,000.00) dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary, be and the same is hereby appropriated out of any funds in the State Treasury, not otherwise appropriated, for the purpose of erecting a building for the heating and lighting plant and laundry room in connection with the same, for the State Orphans Home at Twin Bridges, Montana.

Section 4.

That the sum of Five Thousand dollars ($5,000.00), or so much thereof as may be necessary, be and the same is hereby appropriated out of any funds in the State Treasury, not otherwise appropriated, for the purpose of building a cottage for the State Orphans Home at Twin Bridges, Montana.

Section 5.

That the sum of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000), or so much thereof as may be necessary, be and the same is hereby appropriated, out of any funds in the State Treasury, not otherwise appropriated, for the purpose of converting the present school building at the State Orphans Home into a cottage for the State Orphans Home at Twin Bridges, Montana.

Section 6.

The aggregate sum of $12,000.00 appropriated by Sections 3 and 4 of this Act is appropriated for the fiscal year ending November 30th, 1905; and the sum of $10,000.00 appropriated in Section 2 and 5 is appropriated for the fiscal year ending November 30th, 1906.

Section 7.

That this Act shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passage and approval by the Governor.
