Program Type Changes: Legislation H. Res. 5, dated January 5, 1993 establishes in the House of Representatives an office to be known as the Office of General Counsel, previously under the Office of the Clerk. Eight positions in the General Counsel's office are transferred from the Clerk's office at an annual cost of $498,000. Workload: Thirty new positions are requested at an estimated cost of $1,159,000. This results in a net increase of twenty two positions in the Office of the Clerk over tha amount provided in the FY '93 appropriation bill. |
