The changes provide for an increase in the salaries and allowance for hotel expenses of General Officers and General Organizers. Proposition 2 provided for an increase in the monthly per capita tax paid to the General Office. Proposition 3 provided that the membership, by a two-thirds vote, may authorize the transfer to the Death and Disability Fund of a stated amount of the surplus in some other fund. In connection with this proposition a resolution was adopted authorizing the transfer at this time of $40,000 of the surplus in the General Fund to the Death and Disability Fund. The first and third propositions having received more than the necessary two-thirds vote in favor are carried and become law.
