Proposition 1 provided for the amendment of Sections 234 page 53, 243 page 56 and 253 page 57 of the General Constitution. The changes provide for an increase in the salaries and allowance for hotel expenses of General Officers and General Organizers.

Proposition 2 provided for an increase in the monthly per capita tax paid to the General Office.

Proposition 3 provided that the membership, by a two-thirds vote, may authorize the transfer to the Death and Disability Fund of a stated amount of the surplus in some other fund. In connection with this proposition a resolution was adopted authorizing the transfer at this time of $40,000 of

the surplus in the General Fund to the Death and Disability Fund.

The first and third propositions having received more than the necessary two-thirds vote in favor are carried and become law. The second proposition was lost, not having an affirmative vote of two-thirds of the members voting.
