An Act to extend the provisions of "The Adelaide City, Port, and [Assented to, 21st December, 1877.] HEREAS it is expedient to extend the provisions of "The Preamble. Adelaide City, Port, and Suburban Waterworks Act" to the places and districts mentioned or described in the Schedule to this Act-Be it therefore Enacted by the Governor of the Province of South Australia, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly of the said Province, in this present Parliament assembled, as follows: 1. The districts, towns, townships, villages, and places, as well as all lands and premises, mentioned or set out and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and be deemed to be, included in the water area described in "The Adelaide City, Port, and Suburban Waterworks Act," and shall be subject to the provisions thereof, in such and the same manner as if such places and districts had been originally mentioned and described in such Act, or in the second Schedule thereto. 2. The owner or occupier of any lands or premises which, not being within any water area, shall be wholly situate within two miles of any public road along which any main pipe shall be laid, by virtue of this Act, may, in writing, request the Commissioner to supply water for domestic purposes to such lands or premises, and the Commissioner may at his sole discretion comply with or refuse such "The Adelaide City, Waterworks Act" to mentioned in Schedule Commissioner may within two miles of public road along shall be laid. supply water to lands which a main pipe Incorporation. Waterworks Act Amendment Act.-1877. such request; and in the event of his complying therewith, may do all things necessary and expedient for supplying such lands or premises with water for such purposes: Provided always, that such water shall only be supplied subject to all the conditions and provisions contained in, or provided by, the 47th clause of "The Adelaide City, Port, and Suburban Waterworks Act, 1874." 3. This Act, and "The Adelaide City, Port, and Suburban Waterworks Act," shall be incorporated and be read and construed together as forming one Act. TOWNSHIP OF CHELTENHAM. - Bounded on the north-east by the southwestern side of road dividing Preliminary Section 419 from Section 421; on the south-west by the north-eastern side of Port Road; on the east by the western side of road dividing Preliminary Section 407 from 419; and on the north-west by the south-eastern boundary of Preliminary Section 420. The above comprises the whole of Preliminary Section 419. No. 2. DISTRICT OF QUEENSTOWN.-Commencing at the north-eastern corner of Preliminary Section 442, Hundred of Yatala; thence southerly along its eastern boundary for 1,776 links; thence south-easterly by a line 1,776 links south-west of and parallel to the old Port Road, to the western boundary of Preliminary Section 425; thence easterly at right angles to said boundary for 1,000 links; thence southerly at right angles for 2,000 links; thence easterly at right angles to the western boundary of Preliminary Section 424; thence southerly by said boundary for about 250 links; thence easterly at right angles for about 1,000 links; thence northerly at right angles to the south-western side of the old Port Road; thence north-westerly along said side of road to the point of commencement. DISTRICT NORTH-WEST OF ALBERTON AND QUEENSTOWN.-Comprising that portion of the Hundred of Yatala north-east and east of the Port Road, northwest of the road north-west of Preliminary Section 423, south-west and northwest of Section 454, north-east of road north-east of Section 454, and southwest of the City and Port Railway; also including harbor allotments numbered 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14, on the eastern side of the old Port Reach, and lying north-west of Queenstown; together with Section 926, bounded on the north-east by the old Port Road; on the south-east by the north-west side of road north-west of reserve north of Preliminary Section 442; on the east by the western side of roads west of said reserve and said Section; on the south by northern side of road north of Section 925; and on the west by the old Port Reach. TOWNSHIPS OF BRIGHTON AND SOMERTON.-Bounded on the north by the southern boundary of the Corporate Town of Glenelg; on the south by the northern side of road north of Section 240, Hundred of Noarlunga; on the east by the western side of the Brighton Road, west of Sections 205 and 212; on the west by the eastern side of road along sea-coast. TOWNSHIPS OF SHOREHAM AND NEW BRIGHTON.-Comprising the whole of Sections 241 and 242, Hundred of Noarlunga, bounded on the north by the south boundary of Section 240, on the east by the western side of road west of Sections 201 and 204, on the south by the northern boundary of Section 243, and on the west by the eastern side of road along the sea-coast. TOWNSHIP OF CROYDON AND REMAINING PORTION OF PRELIMINARY SECTION 374.-Bounded on the south-west by the north-eastern side of the Port Road; on the east by the western side of road west of Section 371, Hundred of Yatala; on the north-east by the south-western side of road south-west of Section 2067; and on the north-west by the south-eastern boundary of Section 375. No. 14. TOWNSHIP OF KILKENNY.-Bounded on the north-east by the southwestern side of road dividing Preliminary Section 388 from Section 2069; on the south-west by north-eastern side of Port Road; on the south-east by the north-western boundary of Preliminary Section 387; and on the west by the eastern side of road dividing Preliminary Section 388 from 397. The above comprises the whole of Preliminary Section 388. No. 15. DISTRICT OF GLYNDE.-Comprising the whole of Preliminary Sections 284, 305, 306, 313, and Sections 265 and 2042.
