I would like to request that the Members of the Committee on Energy and Commerce accept and publish as a Committee Print "Review of National Telecommunications Policy".

This report contains a compilation of the views and comments of representatives of various government, industry and consumer groups outlining their position on national telecommunications policy. These comments were filed with the Subcommittee on Telecommunications and Finance in conjunction with a series of hearings examining various segments of the telecommunications industry since the court ordered divestiture of AT&T. second session of the 101st Congress, the Subcommittee plans to consider legislation which would return jurisdiction to the Congress and provide a blueprint for a national telecommunications policy.
