COLONEL ERNEST L. JANES, SECRETARY-TREASURER

R. A. GRITTON, BUDGET OFFICER

Mr. FLOOD. The Soldiers' and Airmen's Home.

The presentation will be made by Lieutenant General F. T. Unger, governor.

General UNGER. Mr. Chairman, I have a prepared formal statement.

On my left is Colonel Jones, who is the secretary-treasurer of the Home, and on my right is Mr. Gritton, who is the budget officer. I have forwarded copies of my formal statement to the members of the committee.

I heard you say that the House meets at 11. So, I would like to briefly state that, in the interest of the Committee's time, my budget for fiscal 1979 is $16,939,000.

Mr. FLOOD. Of course, you want us to place your statement in the record.

General UNGER. Yes, sir, I would like very much for you to do that. [The information referred to follows:]
