THE JOSEPH HENRY FUND. To assist meritorious investigators, especially in the direction of original research. The sum of $40,000 was contributed by Fairman Rogers, Joseph Patterson, George W. Childs, and others, as an expression of their respect and esteem for Prof. Joseph Henry.
