chapter and title prohibiting the unlawful
selling of intoxicating liquors, and defining
and prohibiting blind tigers and providing
rules of evidence and penalties therefor, ap-
proved March 30, 1887."

Revised Civil Statutes of the State of Texas."

Entitled "An act to declare the effect of judicial
and other sales of railroads; to limit the
amount of stocks and bonds that may be is-
sued by railroad companies, and to regulate
the manner of issuing, registering and se-
curing the same; to prescribe the requisites
of deeds of trust and mortgages made to se-
cure such bonds, and to prescribe penalties
for violating the provisions of this act.

843, 844, 845, 852, 853, 863, 864, 865, 866, 867, 868,
869, 870, 871, 872, 876, 877, 878, 879, 880, 881, 882,
883, 886, 887, 888, 889, 890, 1049, 1050, 1051, 1052
of the Code of Criminal Procedure of the
State of Texas and all laws and parts of laws
in conflict with the provisions of this act."

Be it resolved by the Legislature of the State
of Texas, That the State of Texas accepts the
amount of money appropriated by the act of
Congress approved March 2, 1891, for all
money that may be due the State and its
citizens, the same being an act to credit and
pay to the several States and Territories and
the District of Columbia all money collected
under the direct tax levied by the act of Con-
gress, approved August 5, 1861, and the Gov-
ernor of the State is hereby authorized to re-
ceive and receipt for all money due the State
and the citizens of Texas, collected under said
act of Congress of August 5, 1891.
The same
to be in full satisfaction of all claims against
the United States on account of the levy and
collection of said tax.
