HOUSE BILLS, TABULATED STATEMENT-continued.
Be it resolved by the Legislature of the State of Texas, That the State of Texas accepts the amount of money appropriated by the act of Congress approved March 2, 1891, for all money that may be due the State and its citizens, the same being an act to credit and pay to the several States and Territories and the District of Columbia all money collected under the direct tax levied by the act of Con- gress, approved August 5, 1861, and the Gov- ernor of the State is hereby authorized to re- ceive and receipt for all money due the State and the citizens of Texas, collected under said act of Congress of August 5, 1891.
The same to be in full satisfaction of all claims against the United States on account of the levy and collection of said tax.
