[Text of H.R. 11233 follows:] [H.R. 11233, 94th Cong., 1st sess.] A BILL To amend the Library Services and Construction Act to extend the authorizations of appropriations contained in such Act, and for other purposes Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That (a) section 4(a)(1) of the Library Services and Construction Act (20 U.S.C. 351b (a) (1)), hereinafter in this Act referred to as the "Act", is amended by striking out "and" immediately after "1975," and by inserting immediately before the period at the end thereof the following: ", such sums as may be necessary for the period beginning July 1, 1976, and ending September 30, 1976, $100,000,000 for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1977, $110,000,000 for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1978, $130,000,000 for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1979, and such sums as may be necessary for the fiscal years ending September 30, 1980, and September 30, 1981". (b) Section 4(a) (2) of the Act (20 U.S.C. 351b (a) (2)) is amended by striking out "and" immediately after "1975," and by inserting immediately before the period at the end thereof the following: ", and such sums as may be necessary for the period beginning July 1, 1976, and ending September 30, 1976, and for the fiscal years ending September 30, 1977, September 30, 1978, September 30, 1979, September 30, 1980, and September 30, 1981". (c) Section 4 (a) (3) of the Act (20 U.S.C. 351b(a)(3)) is amended by striking out "and" immediately after "1975," and by inserting immediately before the period at the end thereof the following: ", such sums as may be necessary for the period begining July 1, 1976, and ending September 30, 1976, $10,000,000 for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1977, $15,000,000 for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1978, $20,000,000 for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1979, and such sums as may be necessary for the fiscal years ending September 30, 1980, and September 30, 1981". (d) Section 4(a) (4) of the Act (20 U.S.C. 351b (a)(4)) is amended by striking out "and" immediately after "1975," and by inserting immediately before the period at the end thereof the following: ", the period beginning July 1, 1976, and ending September 30, 1976, and the fiscal years ending September 30, 1977, September 30, 1978, September 30, 1979, September 30, 1980, and September 30, 1981". |
