We therefore desire to again call our own members' attention to the resolution passed at the Dallas Convention in 1921, i. e., that our membership be request. ed, whenever possible, to purchase or hang nothing but union-made wall paper and whenever possible to have same inserted in their contract, providing, however, it does not conflict with their best interests. The officers of the Brotherhood of Painters, Decorators and Paperhangers of America urges its members to make a more determined effort to aid these brothers. Bosses always pick out the most active leaders and center their forces on them to weaken a movement made against them. Should that not be your duty also? CINCINNATI WAGE SCALE AGREEMENT The following wage scale agreement has been announced as effective between the Master Painters' Association, Contracting Painters of Cincinnati and vicinity and the Painters' District Councl No. 12: From the 23rd of December, 1922, to April 23rd, 1923, the wages shall be at the rate of 9212 cents per hour, and from April 23, 1923, till August 23rd, 1923, wages shall be 9742 cents per hour, and from August 23rd, 1923. to January 23rd, 1924, wages shall be $1.024 per hour. HONORARY MEMBERSHIP. All members eligible to transfer to Hon. orary Membership under Section No. 103 (20 year continuous membership) or Sec. tion No. 104 (disabled and not 20 years in good standing) must submit their due books to the Financial Secretary of their local Union who, upon examinations of same, will forward due books to the General Office for verification and transfer to Hon. orary Membership. Billet, national representative of the National Association of Machine Printers and Color Mixers, appeared before the Executive Board of the Brotherhood of Painters, Decorators and Paperhangers and stated the following facts: Their membership is now locked out of the factories in various parts of the country for nineteen months. This general movement occurred in 1921 when the employers representing the Imperial-Campbell and the StandardLiberty firms walked out of the Conference called to make an agreement, declaring their intentions of running “open shops." This policy they have pursued since that time, using all the tactics known to advo. cate this so-called one hundred per cent American Plan. Since then the real leader. FINANCIAL SECRETARIES.
